雷丁市位于伦敦和牛津之间、泰晤士河流域的中心地带，坐落于伦敦西部60公里处，是伯克郡府所在地和英国环境最美的城市。雷丁有丰富的历史遗产，其历史可追溯至几个世纪前。并且在英国历史上扮演了非常重要的角色。据说英国国王亨利一世便埋葬在这里。这里还是英国拥有修道院最多的城市，很多著名的修道院都建在这里。

从雷丁乘直达火车去伦敦仅需25分钟。乘市内专线大巴40分钟可到希思罗国际机场，交通十分方便。在雷丁，学生和学校起着很重要的作用。购物十分方便。扩建后的大型购物中心Oracle被公认为英国南部最好的购物和餐饮中心。
 

雷丁大学Wantage Hall校区
雷丁大学始建于1892年，由牛津大学创办，其前身是牛津大学基督堂学院的分院。于1926年获得皇家正式批准成为雷丁大学。是英国著名的红砖大学。校园内有美丽的天然湖、茂密的树林和植物园，夏令营的主教学区Wantage Hall离雷丁大学主校区只有箭步之遥，它始建于1908年，到目前仍然保留着一些十八世纪英国皇室的园林设计，是典型的英格兰传统学院式建筑。 

 

住宿方式
学生公寓：学生可选择单人间或双人间宿舍，房间里都设有洗漱池。公寓内其他设施也一应俱全，如活动室，淋浴，厕所以及投币洗衣机。

Activities
A full programme of social and leisure activities is arranged, including discos, barbecues, quiz nights and sports tournaments.

Sports Facilities
Students have use of sports facilities at the University, a short walk away. There are playing fields, tennis courts and an indoor sports hall.
