Students who want to get to know English life and culture whilst improving their language skills, in a fun, active and social environment during their Summer holidays.

The Classic course offers you the opportunity to join a Summer programme with students of other nationalities, or with a group of friends.

It is a fully-inclusive programme of English tuition, supervised excursions, sports and activities on-site such as arts and crafts, drama and music.

We accept bookings from individual students at many of our centres and from groups of students at all centres when accompanied by a leader.

Specialist sports supplements

Some of our prestigious centres offer specialist facilities for particular sports. At these centres you can ask for extra coaching in these sports in addition to the standard Classic course programme.

These sports supplements must be booked in advance and cost extra.

Sports add-ons available:

• Football: Felsted, York, Cheltenham. Alternatively you may be interested in our Arsenal Soccer Schools programme.
• Golf: Oakham, Wokingham.
• Horse riding: Oakham, Wokingham.

Language Playschool: for younger students

This programme is available for group bookings only.

For students aged 7-10 we offer a special Language Playschool programme at two of our most prestigious centres, Felsted and York.

The emphasis is on learning while playing and the greatest care and attention is given to the children's welfare and supervision.

• 15 hours of English lessons per week (in short lessons)
• 1 full-day excursion per week
• 2 half-day excursions per week
• Full-board residential accommodation
• Very high level of supervision

Stafford House Study Holidays provides high quality summer English and activitiy courses for young learners, junior and teenage students.

We enjoy a reputation for providing effective language lessons and running well-organised on-site activities and excursions – all within a safe and friendly environment throughout the UK and USA.

We provide a full weekly programme of on-site activities. These are all planned and operated by our teams of motivated activities and welfare staff and include sports, drama, art, games, talent contests, quizzes and discos.

The programme of excursions (one or two half-day and one full-day per week) includes visits to major cultural and fun attractions. We also offer optional excursions at each centre that may be booked at the centre.

Outstanding facilities

Our campuses all provide impressive on-site facilities and the accommodation is of a high standard. Most schools also provide extensive grounds and gardens, giving you an ideal setting for your study holiday.

Dedicated teachers

Our teachers are dedicated to ensuring that you learn skills to communicate in English in a fun and positive environment,  using our own specially designed Stafford House Study Holidays course books  and materials. In addition to this, you will be encouraged to use English both in and out of the classroom, to ensure that you learn and speak as much as possible during your stay.

Exciting activities and excursion options

We provide an all-inclusive programme of on-site activities and excursions to major historical, cultural and fun attractions. Optional specialist sports and further excursions can also be booked in advance.

Exceptional student care

We take the health, safety and welfare of our students very seriously. Our stafrf are carefully trained to deal with any situation that may arise. We employ teachers and qualified sports coaches, as well as welfare staff whose sole responsibility is to look after our students.

In addition to our roaming Academic and Operations Advisors, we employ a Welfare Advisor who will visit every centre during the summer to ensure that our students are healthy and safe.
