London School of Economics: Bankside

The city of London

London is one of the world's most exciting cities. A centre for heritage, culture, the arts and entertainment, with a wealth of events, festivals and shops, London’s diversity and vitality make it one of the world's most popular destinations.

Bankside House

Bankside House is the largest residence of the London School of Economics, and is located south of the River Thames, adjacent to the Tate Gallery of Modern Art, near Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and many Millennium sites. Covent Garden, the West End, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and St Paul's are all within a 10-minute journey.

Accommodation

Our students are housed in excellent en-suite accommodation in twin, triple and quadruple rooms, each with a shower, WC and direct-dial telephone. Linen is changed every three days, towels are provided and there are coin-operated laundry facilities.
There is a daily choice of continental or cooked English breakfast, two-course lunch and three-course dinner. Bankside House facilities include a games room and television lounge, restaurant and bar.
