Welcome to London Brunel University, Uxbridge

Uxbridge is an old market town on the River Colne. On the High Street is the Market House built in 1789, and the Crown and Treaty Inn, which dates back to the 16th century. The inn incorporates a building called the Treaty House where the Commissioners of Charles I met representatives of Parliament in 1645 to sue for peace, but without success.
Today Uxbridge is a lively town with excellent access by underground to London. It is very convenient for Heathrow Airport, and is also an ideal starting point for excursions, because it is located close to the motorway network.
Brunel University
Brunel University is a modern campus set in landscaped grounds, with the River Pinn running through it. Brunel received its Charter conferring university status in July 1966, and has established itself as a leading university, especially in the fields of engineering and technology. It is named after Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the great Victorian engineer and bridge builder.
All the university facilities are located close to one another on the compact campus which is 15 minutes' walk from Uxbridge underground station.
Accommodation
There is a choice of en-suite accommodation of good quality, with shared shower and toilet facilities. The rooms are all single rooms and are furnished to a high standard and well maintained.
