Bankside House is the largest residence of the London School of Economics. It is located just south of the river Thames, next to the London Eye, the Tate Modern Art and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
Other attractions such as Covent Garden, the West End, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral are all just 10 minutes away on foot.
At Bankside we run the London Explorer Programme which includes, each week: 15 hours of English lessons, one full-day excursion (by coach), 5 sightseeing tours around London (on foot or by tube), 3 evening activities and weekly travelcards.

Hotel-style accommodation of a high standard
· Residential, with en-suite accommodation in 2, 3 or 4-bed rooms, each with a shower and WC
· Group leaders are accommodated in single rooms with a shared bathroom (1 bathroom per 2 group leaders).
· Other facilities include a games room and a bar area. A coin-operated laundry facility is also available.
